INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Please review the ReadMe, Known Bugs Listing, and Fixes documentation for full information on the 4.0.1 updated version. You must have all installation components on an internal hard drive. NetObjects Fusion 4.0.1 for Windows is not designed to work from removable media or a network drive.
This updater will work for NetObjects Fusion 4.0 retail version only, it does not apply to NetObjects Fusion 4.0 trial.
Click on the “Download” link under Direct Download above. A file save dialog box appears.
Select a location to which you want to download the updater.
When the download is complete, please launch NetObjects Fusion 4.0 and then quit.
Locate the updater in the directory to which it was downloaded. Filename: NOF401a_Update.
Double-click the updater icon.
WinZip Self-Extractor dialog will appear. Please click “Setup” to begin installation.
WinZip will now extract the updater files to your /temp folder.
The NetObjects Fusion 4.0.1 installer screen will appear.
Click Next.
You will be presented with our license agreement. Please read this agreement and then click “Yes.”
A dialog box detailing a list of all changed files will appear. Read this list and click “Next.”
You might be presented with a dialog asking to replace several of the bundled templates. These templates were rebuilt in version 4.0.1. If you have made changes to any of these templates in 4.0 and would like to keep your changes choose “No.” If you would like to update the templates choose “Yes”.”
At the conclusion of the installation you will be asked to restart your computer.
Your installation is complete!
Note: If the installer does not detect a correctly installed version of NetObjects Fusion 4.0, you should quit the installer and launch your Full Retail copy of 4.0 and then restart the updater.
The shortcut located in the start menu will not be changed to NetObjects Fusion 4.0.1, but will be updated to launch the 4.0.1 executable.
