NetObjects Fusion 5 Product Updates
Important News!
Attention NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2 customers. The new updater, NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2 to 5.0.2a, is now available. Be sure to download this latest maintenance release and update your application.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Please review the ReadMe, Known Issues and Bug Fixes documentation for full information on the 5.0.2 updated version. You must have all installation components on an internal hard drive. NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2 for Windows is not designed to work from removable media or a network drive.
This updater will work for NetObjects Fusion 5.0 retail version only; it does not update the NetObjects Fusion 5.0 trial or DellHost Edition. Follow these simple steps to update your application. (You may wish to print these directions before beginning.)
NetObjects Fusion 5.0 DellHost Edition users:
NetObjects Fusion DellHost Edition is based on version 5.0.1. We are presently working on an Updater for this edition. Please come back soon for the latest news!
1. Download the updater file:
- Click on one of the the “Download” links from Direct Download above. A file save dialog box appears. Select a location to which you want to download the updater.
- When the download is complete, please launch NetObjects Fusion 5.0 and then close the application.
2. Install the update:
- Locate the downloaded file, NOF502U.exe, and double-click it to start the update process.
- WinZip Self-Extractor dialog will appear. Please click "Setup" to begin installation.
- You might be presented with a dialog asking to replace several of the bundled templates. Those templates were rebuilt in version 5.0.2. If you have made changes to any of the templates in version 5.0 and would like to keep those changes choose "No", and quit the updater. After saving the templates to a separate directory, re-launch the updater.
3. Restart your computer. Your installation is complete!
Note: If the installer does not detect a correctly installed version of NetObjects Fusion 5.0, you should quit the installer and launch your Full Retail copy of 5.0 and then restart the updater.
The shortcut located in the start menu will not be changed to NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2, but will be updated to launch the 5.0.2 executable.

MOVING SITES FROM 5.0 TO 5.0.2
These are the recommended steps for moving sites from 5.0 to 5.0.2:
1. Open the 5.0 site in 5.0.2.
2. Go to Publish view
3. On the Menu, click Publish, then Arrange Files, then Clear All
Customizations.
Warnings:
- For large sites this process may take a considerable amount of time (several hours)
- This process will also remove customizations that you want to preserve and require you to re-customize the Publish view.
