 CRASHERS
1. Crash when removing the link of some text links written as a path. Sometimes, if a link containing a specified directory path followed by a space is unlinked without the space selected, NetObjects Fusion 5.0 experienced a program crash. This has been resolved with NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
2. NetObjects Fusion crashes after deleting contents of table, deleting the table, and then undo. If some of the contents of a table are deleted by right-clicking and selecting Delete Objects from the shortcut menu and then the table is deleted, when Undo Clear is chosen from the Edit menu, NetObjects Fusion 5.0 may crash. This has been resolved in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 INSTALLATION
1. During the install if the user opens the ReadMe and then makes the installer active, Microsoft Internet Explorer is pushed below the installer screen. The only way to continue is to use the Task Manager to close the ReadMe in Microsoft Internet Explorer. In NetObjects Fusion 5.0, the installer waits for the browser with the ReadMe to close. The user can't easily close the browser unless the Task Manager is used. This only happens if user inadvertently clicks on the area where the splash screen is visible behind Internet Explorer (where the Taskbar usually is). The installer is now changed in such a way that installer will not wait to close the Internet Explorer 5 browser.
 MIGRATION
1. Object HTML Inside Tag content for Text boxes cannot be edited after migration to NetObjects Fusion 5.0 Solution: S1608 NetObjects Fusion 5.0 no longer has the Inside Tag field option for Text boxes. If any content was placed in this field in previous versions of NetObjects Fusion, this content is no longer editable in version 5.0. Before migration, make sure to place any scripts or custom code into the Before or After Tag fields for Text boxes.
 BROWSER COMPATIBILITY
1. Text Formatting, when applied to a text box, did not display correctly in Netscape Navigator 4.x. A double class id was assigned to a text box in NetObjects Fusion 5.0, which is not interpreted by the Netscape Navigator browser. This has been fixed in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 COMPONENTS
1. Form Handler component did not work correctly when published from a Windows 98 computer for NetObjects Fusion 5.0. The NetObjects Fusion 5.0 Form Handler component does not publish a form that is configured to append sent form information when published from a Windows 98 computer. This bug as been fixed in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 ASSETS
1. After importing a site, and then making a copy of the site file by using ‘File – Save Site As,' the image files that were imported have paths to non-existent directories. This was a problem in NetObjects Fusion 5.0, and it has been fixed in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 DATA OBJECTS
1. Filtering a Data List connected to Office 2000 products returns an Empty Data List. When filtering a Data List based off of an external Office2000 database in NetObjects Fusion 5.0, an empty Data List is created. This has been fixed in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
2. If you change the column width of the Internal or External Data List in NetObjects Fusion 5.0, then go to any other View and then go back to Page view the column width resizes back to the original width. This has been resolved in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 FORMS
1. Form action not preserved in Fusion 4.01 templates in Fusion 3.x or 4.x site, enter in a form action and export site to a template. Create a new site in Fusion 5.0 based on that template and the form action will either be converted to a local path or will be deleted. This is a legacy issue with Fusion 3.x and 4.x templates. However the problem has been resolved for Fusion 5.x templates.
 IMAGES AND STYLES
1. Adding a border to an image that is set to ‘stretch' or ‘tile' will make the border bite into the image in NetObjects Fusion 5.0. Adding a border to an image set to ‘stretch' or ‘tile' is added to the size of the image and no longer bites into the image when using NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
2. A GIF image with transparency that is used as a list-bullet-image in a text box will lose its transparency in ‘Page' view after closing and re-opening a site file in NetObjects Fusion 5.0. If you create a line of text and make it an unordered list, then apply formatting that includes the use of a list-bullet-image, and the image used is a GIF image with transparency, that image will be lost when the file is closed and re-opened. This has been fixed in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
3. Properties palette disappears in ‘Style' view after clicking on an element, then minimizing and maximizing the NetObjects Fusion 5.0 program window. If you navigate to ‘Style' view in NetObjects Fusion 5.0, select an element in the Right pane, and then minimize the program window and maximize it, the properties palette disappears. Either choose ‘View – Properties Palette' or upgrade to NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 IMPORT
1. All text in the HTML file is stripped on import if the header contains: <style></style> leaving an empty textbox in Page View. This was a problem when importing in NetObjects Fusion 5.0. The text should import correctly into the page when the above tags are in a HTML document and the document is imported in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
2. When importing a site which has targeted links, the "target = " part of the link is not imported properly in NetObjects Fusion 5.0. The "target =" attribute of an anchor tag (link) should be imported properly in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 PUBLISHING
1. Multiple copies of the same auto-generated image will be created for each MasterBorder that has the same auto-generated navigation bar button image. If you create a site with different MasterBorders assigned to various pages, and then create navigation bars that link to a similar page, there will be duplicate auto-generated images for each button, slowing down the publishing process, and taking space on the server. This has been resolved in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
2. FTP connection established at beginning of generation, and not just before transferring files during the publishing/generation process in NetObjects Fusion 5.0. NetObjects Fusion 5.0 establishes an Internet FTP connection when generating files during the publishing process, and not just before transferring the files, as pervious versions of NetObjects Fusion did. NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2 will only establish the FTP connection after generating the files and before transferring the files.
3. .NOD files increase after every publish process in NetObjects Fusion 5.0. The .nod file used to increase in size after every publish under certain file conditions. This should be resolved in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 TABLES
1. A change to the link in a Rollover component that is placed inside of a table, which is placed inside of a MasterBorder margin, will change for any MasterBorder that was based off this MasterBorder. When placing a Picture Rollover component inside of a table that is inside of a MasterBorder margin in previous versions of NetObjects Fusion, an inconsistent component/component link/table behavior will result. If you create new MasterBorders that are based upon this MasterBorder and then change the link for the Picture Rollover component in either the original MasterBorder, or new ones based off of the first MasterBorder, the link will change for all of these MasterBorders. This has been fixed in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
 TEXT AND LINKS
1. In NetObjects Fusion 5.0, one could redefine a whole link after selecting only a few characters in a text link. The current link would not display when selecting a partial text link, and one could inadvertently change the whole text link when changing the link for the partial text link selection. In NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2, when selecting a partial text link, the current link will display, and one will change the whole text link if changing the text link for a partial selection of a text link. If you want to change the link for a small selection of a text link, unlink the whole text link and re-link each section of the text string.
2. Double-clicking inside of a tall text box will auto-select a large amount of the text, and the page may scroll to the near top of the text box. If you wanted to place your cursor at a point in a tall text box in NetObjects Fusion 4.x and 5.0, the selection may increase and jump to the near top of the text box. Either hit the keyboard right arrow key, or upgrade to NetObjects Fusion 5.0.2.
3. Selecting the browser proportional font to be different from "Times New Roman" (e.g. Verdana) and creating a textbox with some text, the font face will be "Times New Roman" after closing and re-opening the site file in NetObjects Fusion 5.0. Changes to the browser proportional font, such as from ‘Times New Roman' to another font, in the ‘Tools – Options – Text' menu will not be retained in NetObjects Fusion 5.0 after the site file is closed and re-opened. This has been resolved in NetObjects Fusion 5.0.
