NetObjects, Inc. Launches in Europe - Silicon Valley’s Hottest New Startup Enters New Markets Around The World.

October 2, 1997 -- NetObjects, Inc, the Redwood City, California-based supplier of award winning web site construction and management software tool NetObjects Fusion, is announcing the launch of its operation in Europe. The European Headquarters will be established in the UK, with satellite offices planned in Paris, France, and Munich, Germany, and forthcoming plans to expand to further European markets.

NetObjects, Inc was founded in 1995 by visionary technologists Samir Arora, founder and CEO, Dave Kleinberg, founder and executive VP, products, and Clement Mok, chief creative officer. The company is already a major player in the website construction software market, which is predicted by Forrester Research to grow to US$1.2 billion by the year 1999. This product allows the newly defined web team authoring issue to be properly addressed with features such a file locking, version control and form-driven content provision.Other announcements to coincide with NetObjects European launch will include Fusion's competitive upgrade, which will allow users of existing page authoring products to upgrade to a full version of NetObjects Fusion, as well as local pricing, enterprise licensing, educational pricing and clearly defined distribution and channel strategies.
