With Leading NT Workstations Category-Creating Web Site Building Software Now Available to More Windows NT Users

Redwood City, CA., March 25, 1997 -- In a further demonstration of support for its category-creating Web site building software, NetObjects Inc., today announced that NeTpower, the leading-edge Windows NT systems company, will bundle NetObjects Fusion 2.0 with NeTpower's high-end workstations and servers.

Under the terms of a marketing/distribution agreement, NeTpower workstations and servers will include a full copy of NetObjects Fusion 2.0 for Windows. NeTpower has a national network of over 100 resellers and dealers who deliver the company's systems to leading Internet and media companies such as Intel, Time Warner and Zip2.

"In the second phase of the Web, people are looking to build sites not just pages and NetObjects Fusion is the only product that takes a site-oriented approach," said David Kleinberg, NetObjects' executive vice president of products. "The combination of NeTpower's high-performance hardware and our intuitive software will enable thousands of users to easily create Web sites that are media-rich, look good and can easily be maintained over time."

Since shipping in February, NetObjects Fusion 2.0 has won C/Net's Internet Excellence Award, has been recognized as a unique site-oriented product by Infoworld reviewers, and has been named PC Magazine and NetGuide's Hot Product of the week.

"The partnership with NetObjects is part of NeTpower's goal to deliver best-of-breed solutions for integrating multimedia technologies on-line," said Linda Hargrove, vice president of Marketing, of NeTpower. "By joining forces with NetObjects, we will be able to provide our customers with not only quality hardware, but also with the industry's leading site-oriented Web authoring product that will allow them to easily create a sophisticated on-line presence."

NeTpower is the only Windows NT systems company that is taking a solutions approach to the creation and distribution of Internet media. NeTpower's powerful workstations and servers are used by some of the industries most robust Internet sites such as MSNBC and Zip2, and have won awards for their performance and technical support from the likes of New Media magazine, Information World, and P.C Graphics and Video.

NetObjects Fusion is the first smart Web site building application that integrates automated site building, professional quality design and data publishing. Since the introduction of NetObjects Fusion in September 1996, more than 150,000 site builders have downloaded it to build thousands of media-rich Web sites. Available for the Windows and Macintosh operating systems the product has received wide acclaim including winning C/Net's Internet Excellence Award for Best Web Design Tool, New Media Magazine's HyperMedia award, PC Magazine's Editors Choice and Publish Magazine's Impact award, and being named one of C/Net's Top Five Internet Products of 1996 and Morph's Outpost Daily Spectrum's Best Web Authoring Tool.
