Redwood City, CA, February 25, 1997 -- NetObjects, Inc. today announced that Ingram Micro, the nation's leading software distributor, will distribute NetObjects Fusion 2.0, the company's award-winning Web site building software product shipping today.
NetObjects joins the cadre of select Ingram Micro Internet partners such as Netscape Communications Corporation, PointCast Corporation, and CheckPoint Software. NetObjects Fusion is the first site-oriented Web site development application from an emerging company to be distributed by Ingram Micro which also represents established companies such as Microsoft Corporation.
"The overwhelming demand for NetObjects Fusion propelled us to seek a major distributor who would make it easier for customers to get access to our products," said Mark Patton, NetObjects' vice president of sales. "By joining the Ingram Micro fold, we expand the facilities and scope of support for resellers and end-users."
"We are delighted to provide our network of resellers with a category-defining site building software product which has already demonstrated channel demand," said Amy Hoffman, vice president of product marketing for Ingram Micro. "With the addition of NetObjects Fusion, we now have a compelling suite of Internet products for the consuming and publishing of information."
