NetObjects Appoints John Vigouroux Vice-President of Business Development
Former Cisco, Adobe dealmaker brings market insight and relationships with key players

Redwood City, Calif., June 16, 1997 -- NetObjects, Inc. today announced the appointment of John Vigouroux, a fifteen-year industry veteran and former business development executive for Cisco and Adobe, as vice president of business development.

Vigouroux reports to Morris Taradalsky, NetObjects' executive vice president of business development and general manager, enterprise.

"John's knowledge of the Web authoring market segment and experience in creating and strenghtening alliances with leading industry players will be invaluable in evolving NetObjects into an established, world-class software applications provider," said Taradalsky.

Prior to joining NetObjects, Vigouroux was director of business development for Cisco Systems' service provider systems business unit, where he developed alliances with online providers such as AT&T & GTE. Prior to Cisco, as manager of strategic opportunities at Adobe Systems, Vigouroux reported directly to the chairman, CEO and president and was responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with corporate partners including: AT&T, Apple, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, and SAP. Vigouroux' prior experience also includes stints at GE Information Services and Wang Laboratories. Vigouroux holds a bachelor of arts from Averett College in Virginia and a masters of business management from New Hampshire College.
