New NetObjects Program Targets Value Chain of Web Solution Providers
Comprehensive Web-Based Resource Center Aimed at VARS, Developers, Trainers and Site Builders

Redwood City, Calif., June 10, 1998 - NetObjects, Inc., the site builders' company, today announced the NetObjects Solution Providers (NSP) Program to provide technical information, services, certification and support to the growing community of Web professionals building and growing their business around NetObjects products. The program affirms NetObjects' commitment to provide value-added resellers, developers, trainers and site builders all the resources they need to successfully implement business solutions based on the company's award-winning Web authoring and development products.

As more and more businesses adopt the Internet, they are looking for comprehensive end-to-end solutions that enable them to migrate existing business systems and legacy data to the Web. These businesses often rely on the services of Web site builders as well as system integrators, database developers and consultants. The NSP program aims to service the needs of these professionals who fall into unique segments and resell products, provide design expertise, product training as well as project management services to translate businesses visions into reality.

"NetObjects has succeeded in establishing itself as a provider of world-class Web authoring software that is used by hundreds of thousands of people around the world to design, build and maintain business Web sites," said David Kleinberg, NetObjects' executive vice president of products. "With the launch of the NSP program we are now extending our offering beyond software to include comprehensive resources tailored to meet the needs of unique constituencies who are implementing real business solutions for clients."

"I have had tremendous success selling NetObjects products along with comprehensive consulting, project management, installation and training services," said Jim Chen of Audio Images, a value added reseller who has worked closely with NetObjects for the past two years. "I am pleased to see the company formalize its commitment to the VAR and developer community by launching the NSP Program which will help solution providers like myself build profitable businesses by leveraging the NetObjects product family."

In addition to receiving a listing on and access to a special, non-public section on the NetObjects Web site, the different groups receive unique benefits tailored to meet their needs.

The NSP Program which will continue to evolve and grow, currently provides the following benefits:

  • Value Added Resellers who join the program will receive advance product updates and information; technical and pre-sales support to increase knowledge of NetObjects products, sales tools, collateral; and co-marketing support to generate leads and support sales efforts.
