building company, today shipped NetObjects TeamFusion, a client-server
authoring product that solves the primary problem facing publishers of Internet and Intranet sites -- the bottleneck created when Web teams become inundated with requests from contributors wanting to put content online.
NetObjects TeamFusion will include two best-of-breed complementary
applications to provide customers a comprehensive solution for their
publishing needs. The new products include Trellix 1.0 - the first software application specifically designed to allow mainstream PC users to easily create documents with the look and feel of handcrafted Web pages and Aquas Bazaar Analyzer Pro Designer's Edition - the industry's only Java-based interactive website analysis and reporting tool. In addition, the company announced that NetObjects TeamFusion is available in two configurations -- Corporate and Business -- aimed at the product's two primary audiences of corporations and medium business. Trellix 1.0 lets users easily export Trellix documents to HTML and import them into a NetObjects TeamFusion-designed site. Non-web savvy content authors can now simply create Web documents within Trellix, either by converting content from existing Office documents or by creating new content. Once completed, with a simple click, Trellix automatically generates the required HTML and with the help of the included 'wizard', posts the resulting files to NetObjects TeamFusion. Trellix complements the structured, text-based content provided through the NetObjects Content Contributor, by allowing more complex documents to be contributed to the site.
Website analysis completes the cycle of site building. By feeding back actual performance into the design process, site builders can use NetObjects TeamFusion to continually optimize their sites. Aquas Bazaar Analyzer Pro Designer's Edition enables end users to conduct the analysis themselves, instead of having to depend on the Webmaster. One installation on the Web server instantly deploys the analysis tool to the enterprise, based on appropriate user names and passwords. The product enables users to generate their own libraries of reports in customized formats and spontaneously generate them as needed.
