Redwood City, Calif., February 16, 1999 -- NetObjects, Inc. today announced that it is working with SmartAge, Corp., in an effort to simplify customer access to valuable Internet services and to provide a comprehensive set of solutions to build and promote their Web sites. This announcement enhances NetObjects Fusion™ Version 4.0's position as the first product to deliver e-business sites in a box.
NetObjects and SmartAge have entered into a marketing and reseller agreement for the specific purposes of SmartAge marketing and reselling NetObjects Web authoring software products to its members.
In addition, SmartAge intends to establish a banner exchange program for NetObjects. SmartAge intends to host, maintain, administer and serve all ad banners, statistical information, and description pages related to the Banner Exchange Service. NetObjects intends to offer the private-label SmartAge Xclick Banner Exchange Service, calling it NetObjects Clicks. NetObjects Clicks will be available from NetObjects Web site and will offer its customers easy access to site promotion services.
Also, SmartAge will sell NetObjects Fusion 4.0 and NetObjects Fusion 2.02 at a discounted rate to members of the SmartAge Banner Network. In addition, SmartAge will promote a 30-day trial offering NetObjects Fusion 4.0. For information about these offers, customers can find more information at the NetObjects and SmartAge Web sites.
