NetObjects Announces Widespread Adoption of NetObjects Fusion™
Over half a million copies sold for building e-Businesses worldwide

Redwood City, Calif., June 9, 1999 - NetObjects, Inc. (NASDAQ:NETO) today announced that over half a million copies of its award-winning Web site building product, NetObjects Fusion, have been sold worldwide. In addition, more than one million e-Business Web sites or Web pages have been built using the product. NetObjects demonstrates its leadership in the e-Business site building software category with its presence in the market through units sold, awards won and successful implementation by its customers.

NetObjects Fusion offers a range of publishing and e-commerce capabilities to simplify e-Business Web site building and enhance the productivity of both novice and experienced business users. Since its introduction in July 1996, the product has been adopted by enterprise and small business customers such as DaimlerChrysler AG, Realty.com, and Raychem to create and maintain a compelling online presence, and has received over 40 awards and recognition from leading industry publications including CNET, PC Week, InfoWorld and Internet World.

Versions of NetObjects Fusion have been bundled and promoted by many major corporations including AT&T, Compaq, Compuserve/AOL, T-Online, IBM (WebSphere & IntelliStation), Lotus (Lotus Designer for Domino), Netscape (with Communicator in Netscape Publishing Suite), Novell (NetWare for Small Business), and Strato AG.
