Redwood City, Calif., May 7, 1999 - NetObjects, Inc. announced today the initial public offering of 6,000,000 shares of its Common Stock at a price of $12 per share. All 6,000,000 shares are being offered and sold by the Company. The offering is being co-managed by an underwriting group including BT Alex.Brown Incorporated, BancBoston Robertson Stephens and U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, Inc. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 900,000 additional shares to cover over-allotments, if any.
NetObjects is a leading provider of software and solutions that enable small businesses and large enterprises to build, deploy and maintain web sites on the Internet and corporate intranets.
The net proceeds of the offering will be used for repayment of debt and general corporate purposes, including working capital requirements.
