Redwood City, Calif., Feb. 5, 1999 -- NetObjects, Inc. today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The company expects that the offering will be completed in the first or second quarter of 1999.
NetObjects provides e-business software and services that enable small and medium-sized businesses as well as large-scale enterprises to build, deploy and maintain Internet web sites and corporate intranets. In addition, NetObjects offers its customers online solutions, including content, products and services to help them register, host, build, maintain and promote their web sites.
BT Alex. Brown will act as the lead underwriter of the offering. Other underwriters of the offering include BancBoston Robertson Stephens and Piper Jaffray, Inc.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
