Redwood City, Calif., April 1, 1999 - NetObjects, Inc. today announced the appointment of Russell F. Surmanek as executive vice president of finance and operations and chief financial officer. Surmanek brings nearly 20 years of experience in public high technology companies such as Oracle Corporation, International Computers Limited (ICL), and Northern Telecom.
From 1990 to 1999, Surmanek served in several senior financial management positions at Oracle Corporation, most recently as vice president of finance and administration, worldwide operations. Reporting to Oracle's president and COO Ray Lane, Surmanek was responsible for finance and administration for Oracle's sales and services organizations in 56 subsidiaries worldwide.
